Is the AJ Project a non profit?

The AJ Project, Inc was granted 501(c)3 non profit tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in 2014.  Because of this all donations made to The AJ Project are tax deductible. 

You can find AJ Project listed in Guidestar which is the gold standard for non profit registration. 

www.guidestar.org. GuideStar USA, Inc. is an information service specializing in reporting on U.S. nonprofit companies. In 2016, its database provided information on 2.5 million organizations

Based out of Astoria NY, The AJ Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization since 2014.  We are organizers of events and education to bring awareness to the need to register as an organ donor, are a champion to bring forth legislation to benefit our cause and share our story to the healthcare industry so they can understand the donor family's prospective during the donation process.  We are also an arts org that connects artistic creation to organ donation.
