I grew up in a house filled with performers. I took dance because my brothers and sister did. I played french horn and I didn't find out I could sing until I was 17. I went to the X-factor auditions on a whim and next thing I knew I was on TV competing against people who wished they could do it for a living. I choked and was glad I did. That 36 seconds brought a fame I was not ready for and only now can appreciate. My favorite music to sing is standards and I will not and can not sing anything but. AJ was my brother and The AJ Project was set up to honor his legacy. I work in a restaurant and sing because its what I do not to be something I'm not.
